Have you ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater? If you want to give scuba diving a try but aren’t quite ready to commit to a certification course, Scuba Diving For Beginners is perfect for you. While it’s not a certification course, it provides a quick and easy introduction to exploring the underwater world and gives you the opportunity to make a shallow-water dive to admire the incredible beauty beneath the magical Mexican Caribbean.
This beginner’s course consists of 1 practice tank session in a pool and 1 tank session in the sea, all completed in a single day.
Itinerary
A session at the pool with a certified instructor, followed by a single dive of approximately 45 minutes to a maximum depth of 30 feet in the Puerto Morelos Marine Park reef.
Equipment includes: tank, buoyancy control device (BCD), weight belt, regulator, mask, and fins.
The boat is equipped with a captain, communication gear, life jackets, a ladder, and a safety line.
Medical expenses and liability insurance are also included.
Dock and Marine Park Usage Fee. Passengers will need to pay upon check-in.

Transportation
During the pool session, the certified instructor will explain and practice the use of each component of the equipment and conduct buoyancy, breathing, and control exercises to ensure the participant's confidence and safety. If the instructor determines that the participant is ready for the open water dive, the dive will proceed.
This program is available for participants aged 10 and older, with a maximum age limit of 65 years.
